Hey CHUSY!!!
I am Shoshana Coven, a sophomore at Chicagoland Jewish High School. I am looking forward to serving as your Communications Vice President this year. I have been active in USY from the age of twelve. My brother, the past regional executive religion education vice president, has been involved in USY and taken on many leadership roles which has inspired me and I have grown to love CHUSY.
I have been communications vice president on both my Kadima chapter board and my USY chapter board. From my experience I have learned to relay messages in creative and fun ways and I have also learned the importance of the messages we send. My experience as Purim carnival co-chair at my synagogue has also taught me to relay messages quickly and to work well under pressure.
I hope that our communications in CHUSY will be clear, quick, and informative. To help accomplish this I am always open to any ideas and suggestions that you may offer. We can work together to improve communication within the region. I am very excited to work with you this year.
~Shoshana Coven
