Dear CHUSY,
Shalom! To begin, I would just like to say thank you for giving me the great opportunity to be your 2009-2010 Membership Kadima Vice President. I know that this is going to be an amazing year. I know how dedicated all of you are to CHUSY, and I know that together we can make this year the biggest and best for Membership and Kadima. I know almost everyone in CHUSY: the USYers, the Executive Board, the staff, and the Kadimaniks, and I promise you that together we can make CHUSY even better than it already is.
This year, we need to make sure that we find new Jewish teens to become members of CHUSY. Being Jewish is something that should be embraced by every Jew. All that other teens need is a little push in the right direction. Like I said at Kinnus, every member of CHUSY can and must be a Mem/Kad. Each of you must take on the obligation and help other teens see how amazing USY is. As soon as they step foot into one of their events, they will see how wonderful this organization is, and how amazing the participants are. Beginning the journey into USY is only one step away! Handing in your USY membership form is all that it takes to become a full-fledged member. Once a member, you can take on many new roles to help shape the future of Jewish Americans. You can take on leadership roles in your chapter and in the region and you can meet new people that will be part of your life forever. If we work together, CHUSY, I know that we can make this the most productive and amazing year ever. We can be the role models that the Kadimaniks need to keep them focused on their Judaism and on being involved in USY.
Last but certainly not least, please know that if you ever need anything from me, I am always here to help. You can contact me via email, AIM, Facebook, or cell phone.
Thank you so much for this opportunity, and I look forward to the most fantastic year of USY that you will ever experience!
Love,
Daniel Warshawsky
