Hey CHUSY!
Just wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself to you! My name is Seth Lerman, and I am a senior at Buffalo Grove High School. Before becoming the regional president, I was very active on BJUSY’s (Beth Judea USY) board, serving one term (2006-2007) as Rel/Ed and another term (2007-2008) as President. While on board as Rel/Ed, BJUSY won the prestigious “Chapter of the Year” award, and won awards for some religious programs. During my time as president, I learned how to handle difficult situations, and it gave me experience that will only benefit me for this upcoming year.
I ran for the position of regional president because I feel confident that I can lead CHUSY on to another successful year. With membership numbers starting to improve, I will work vigorously so that we can keep this trend continuing. By working with the incredible 2008-2009 Regional Executive Board, I know for a fact that this year will be absolutely amazing. Together, we will be bringing you Israel updates, religious opportunities, and so much much more!
I am always here for you if you need anything at all! I am always checking my email (president@CHUSY.org). If you have any questions regarding anything related to USY, please feel free to get in contact with me, 24 hours a day, 6 days a week! I look forward to meeting and spending time with everybody during this upcoming year!
B’ahavah Rabah,
Seth Lerman
CHUSY Regional President
