Join CHUSY and Ramah at Immersive Gamebox in Oakbrook on October 13th, 3pm-5pm for an interactive gaming experience like no other! Using high-tech visors and touchscreens, kids will work in teams to solve puzzles, play arcade games, and compete in fun challenges. It’s a hands-on, social experience that builds teamwork, problem solving, and creativity. Bus transportation is provided from Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. Don’t miss out—limited spots available! Early bird price: $36 until 9/29.

Immersive Gamebox has a variety of 30 minute-60 minute puzzle, trivia, and arcade style games!

Games include Angry Birds, Alien Aptitude Test, Ghostbusters, Tetris, Ticket to Mars and more!

FAQs

  • What is the date, time, and location of the event?

    • The event is on October 13th, 2024.  The event itself is 3pm-5pm. Bus drop off is at 1:45pm and pick up is at 6pm. 

  • What activities will my child participate in?

    • Your child will enjoy a 2-hours of cooperative and competitive immersive games. Participants will be able to choose which games they want to play with their group. These activities are designed to be fun, safe, and age-appropriate.

  • How does Immersive Gamebox work?

    • Immersive Gamebox has 9 rooms that can fit up to 6 participants. Participants wear visors with dots in order to interact with the touch screen walls inside the game, that along with surround sound, creates an immersive interactive experience. ​

  • Is this event supervised?

    • Yes! The event will be supervised by experienced staff and  teen leaders to ensure safety and provide guidance throughout the day. In addition to the Immersive Gamebox staff, there is at least 1 adult staff member for every 10 participants. 

  • What safety measures are in place for the activities?

    • All the rooms at Immersive Gamebox have live video monitoring, allowing Gamebox staff to monitor what is occurring inside the rooms. 

  • What should my child wear and bring?

    • Your child should wear comfortable, athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes for the activities. It is recommended to only wear layer of clothing in the rooms as they tend to get warm. We recommend bringing a water bottle and a small backpack for any personal items. 

  • Will food be provided?

    • Pareve and dairy snacks will be provided. A full meal will NOT be provided at this event. 

  • How will transportation to and from the event be handled?

    • Bus transportation will be provided from the Chicago Northwest Suburbs.
    • Drop off at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School or local drop off at Immersive Gamebox
    • Pick up at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School  or pick up at Immersive Gamebox

  • ​​What is the cost of the event, and what does it include?​

    • The cost of the event includes transportation, participation in all activities, and snacks. The early bird price is $36 thru 9/29, the subsidized regular price is $45 thru 10/13, the full unsubsidized price is $72.
